Music & Entertainment Tech Fest
A celebration of music technology and entertainment innovation. Build the next Spotify, create AI-powered music tools, or develop immersive concert experiences. This hackathon is for musicians, developers, and music tech enthusiasts.
Themes
Select one of these themes when submitting your creative business idea. Themes are organized by tracks.
Music & Entertainment Themes
Develop an AI-powered tool that helps musicians create and collaborate on music remotely.
Musicians often work with collaborators who are in different locations, making real-time collaboration challenging. Traditional tools lack the sophistication needed for seamless remote music creation. An AI-powered platform is needed that enables real-time collaboration, provides AI assistance for composition and harmonization, offers cloud-based DAW functionality, manages version control, and helps musicians create professional-quality music together regardless of physical location.
Create a platform that gamifies music learning and practice for aspiring musicians.
Learning music can be challenging and maintaining motivation for practice is difficult for many aspiring musicians. Gamification can make music education more engaging and effective. A platform is needed that turns practice into games, provides real-time feedback, tracks progress, offers rewards and achievements, creates social challenges, and makes learning music fun and addictive while ensuring proper skill development and technique.
Build a solution that helps artists distribute and monetize their content across streaming platforms.
Artists face complexity in distributing music across multiple streaming platforms, each with different requirements, payment structures, and analytics. Managing distribution, tracking performance, and optimizing revenue across platforms is time-consuming. A unified solution is needed that simplifies multi-platform distribution, provides consolidated analytics, optimizes release strategies, manages rights and royalties, and helps artists maximize their revenue potential across all streaming services.
Develop an immersive concert experience using VR/AR technology.
Live concerts have limitations—geographic barriers, venue capacity, accessibility issues, and high costs. VR/AR technology can create immersive concert experiences that overcome these limitations. A platform is needed that enables artists to create virtual concerts, allows fans to attend from anywhere, provides interactive elements, creates social experiences, and offers new monetization models while maintaining the energy and connection of live performances.
