Sustainable Living Themes
How can we make sustainable fashion more accessible and affordable for consumers?
Sustainable fashion often comes with a premium price tag, making it inaccessible to many consumers. Additionally, consumers struggle to identify truly sustainable brands among greenwashing claims. We need solutions that make sustainable fashion more affordable through innovative business models (rental, resale, subscription), provide transparency about sustainability credentials, and create accessible marketplaces that connect consumers with ethical brands and second-hand options.
Create a platform that tracks and reduces food waste in supply chains.
Food waste occurs at every stage of the supply chain—from farm to consumer. Lack of visibility, poor coordination, and inefficient logistics contribute to significant waste. A comprehensive platform is needed that provides real-time tracking, predictive analytics for demand forecasting, connects surplus inventory with buyers, and offers actionable insights to optimize supply chain operations and minimize waste throughout the entire food journey.
Develop a solution for circular fashion economy - enabling clothing reuse and recycling.
The fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries globally, with fast fashion contributing to massive waste. A circular economy model—where clothing is reused, repaired, and recycled—can significantly reduce environmental impact. Solutions are needed that facilitate clothing rental, resale, repair services, textile recycling, and create incentives for consumers to participate in circular fashion practices rather than discarding clothing.
Build a tool that helps consumers make sustainable food choices based on environmental impact.
Consumers increasingly want to make environmentally conscious food choices, but lack accessible information about the environmental impact of different products. Factors like carbon footprint, water usage, packaging, transportation, and farming practices all matter. A tool is needed that provides clear, actionable information at the point of purchase, helping consumers understand the environmental impact of their food choices and make more sustainable decisions easily.
